Nestled in the cutest little alley is a swanky trifecta of awesome restaurants. Known as "Huston's Alley, you'll find Michaels on the Alley, The Victor Social Club, and Vincent Chicco's. This is a great place to make an evening of it with the gals, from happy hour to dessert! I highly recommend starting with a drink at Victors, then pick a restaurant and get an appetizer and the other for dinner. Everything we tried was delicious, but the calamari was my favorite!

March Madness is approaching (March 14)! While it's not quite as exciting here in Charleston as it was when I was living in NC, I still get pretty into my NCAA bracket this time of year! I'll be tuning in via my NCAA app in between the shows at Charleston Fashion Week. After Fashion Week wraps up, I hope to catch some games at Ghost Monkey Brewery. It's great for catching some NCAA action if you want to drink great beer but avoid crowded bars. Bonus: you can bring your dog with you! Hope y'all enjoy these scenes from our latest Holy City Chicks shoot there.
I'll be rooting for UNC to head to The Final Four, and I'm hoping it's chilly enough for me to rock this Hillflint sweater again. Their sweaters are super soft and I love how they are sort of retro looking.
If you're not that into basketball, head to Ghost Monkey for your own kind of fun and games. I love how many board games they have all over the place! They also rotate their taps very often and I was quite impressed with the selection.
I'm having so much fun with our monthly "Holy City Chicks" photoshoots and wanted to share (see #HolyCityChicks on Instagram). This is a different group of local bloggers that gets together to take pictures for our blogs with Jennifer Collins Photography. I come up with a theme/location/brands to pair up with for each shoot, and December seemed like a good time to wrap up the year with a location that was a little out of the box! Whole Foods graciously let us grace their aisles and taste their delicious beer. I even got to flip a pizza! It's always fun to get a little dolled up no matter what your surroundings are, so I hope you enjoy this album.
The next time you need to escape the heat and catch up with your gal pals, head to Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. The pier there is a great spot to catch some sea breezes and people watch all those Pokemon hunters. Aside from the stunning views, there is plenty to do here! You can rent fishing poles and purchase bait at the gift shop, or check out movies on the Grand Lawn at 8pm on Fridays in August. Find more info on future events here. Jennifer Collins captured this fun evening I recently spent on the pier with some lovely and talented Charleston bloggers, and I hope you enjoy!
The #holycitychicks got into plenty of fun shenanigans on the pier, including wardrobe changes in a Turkish towel dressing room. Do not try this at home!
This month everyone incorporated Aviate hats, Gold Creations jewelry, and Crab and Cleek tote bags into our looks. Aviate has some great nationwide airport codes, and I'm currently taking preorders on their CHS hats. Head here to scoop yours up while they last! They should arrive in September and I can't wait! Thank you to all these great brands for sponsoring this shoot. Enjoy these details of how we styled everything into some fun weekend looks:
