The Instagrammer's Guide to LA: 10 Photo Worthy Stops

IMG_7353 (1).JPG

These days most cities are filled with plenty of great places for eating, drinking, & shopping, so it takes a little extra to set a place apart.  For me, it all boils down to ambiance.  If an establishment can offer up some great things to look at and take pictures of, I'm even more likely to appreciate it.  Here is my round-up of the most LA Spots that you'll be ogling, no filter needed!

1. Alfred Coffee

Who cares how the coffee tastes, how cute is this place!? Well luckily you'll also be pleased with the coffee, or you can even grab a whole coconut to drink!

2. Alfred Tea

If you didn't get your caffeine fix around the corner at Alfred Coffee, check this place out for cute girly vibes and lots of puns about matcha.

3. Paul Smith Wall

Talk a walk down Melrose for some incredible shopping, and you'll stumble upon this wall at the Paul Smith Store.  Plenty of other Instagrammers will be there to swap photo-taking with you.

-Miracle Mile-

4. Rooftop on Wilshire

If you want to go somewhere with a great view and delicious food, this is your spot.  I recently stayed here as a hotel guest, and couldn't have been happier with multiple meals I had here.

The LACMA's Urban Light installation is a must-see; 202 restored cast-iron antique street lamps are all lined up and ready to be photographed.

6. Murals on 3rd (between Fairfax & Crescent Heights

This was a fun find, surrounded by lots of hip restaurants and cute neighborhood streets nearby.

-Beverly Hills-

7. Beverly Hills Hotel

Don't you dare go to LA without checking out this iconic hotel.  Who wouldn't love the pink & green explosion with Martinique wallpaper all around.  Lunch at the poolside Cabana Cafe is a pretty penny, but I'm willing to pay for a side of adorable ambiance.

8. Rodeo Drive

This might be one of the best streets in the world for window shopping and people watching.  It's just around the corner from the Beverly Wilshire (Pretty Woman Hotel), where the staff is super friendly if you want to feel fancy for a few moments.

9. Olive & June

If you want to soak in some super chic vibes while you get your nails did, this place is for you!  It's priced more reasonably than you think for it's prime Beverly Hills location, and they staff could NOT be sweeter.  They call you by name the whole time and were super accommodating when I had to change my appointment time.

10. Dessert Spots (Laduree, Sprinkles, Sugarfina)

There are so many spots to choose from, this deserved it's own post. Read here to see peeks of Sugarfina, Sprinkles (that cupcake ATM though!), and Ladurée.  They're all adorable, but Ladurée takes the cake (well the macaron in this case) for the most delightful sweets in town.
