folly beach chair company | orange umbrellas on folly beach

The kids may be heading back to school, but there is plenty of beach season left around Charleston! We occasionally even get surprised with some beach-worthy weather toward the end of the year, and I plan to enjoy all the sunshine I can. Recently on our local TV show Lowcountry Live, I shared about some of my favorite beach staples. Watch the segment here, and keep scrolling to see some of the local companies I highlighted!

Folly Beach Chair Company

Your beach days will never be the same in the best way; no more schlepping chairs to and from the parking lot, having your umbrella weasel it’s way out of the hole you attempted to dig, or spending the day laying on a towel with no shade. Folly Beach Chair Company will be your new best beach bud that will allow you to just show up and relax. Just click here to book; advance notice is preferable, but you can book same day before noon if you want to sit by the Folly Beach Pier. Then, just show up and let Mike & his friendly staff take care of the rest while you sunbathe the day away!

Germain Dermatology Skin Care

It’s no day at the beach when you’re nursing a sunburn! Dr. Marguerite Germain, who is the dermatologist my husband and I have been seeing for years, keeps expanding her line of skincare to ensure you stay protected from the sun. Shop her tinted and un-tinted sunscreen offerings here, and have a look at the TV segment to learn more about all of their sun care products (like UPF 50+ wraps, hats, & more).

Turkish Towels & More

Have you been in our shop, Cannonborough Collective, this season? We have several new colorful styles of Turkish towels, and that’s the one product that tends to go everywhere with me! We also have lots of cute totes & jelly bags to make it easy to carry your beach day necessities, so stop by the next time you’re downtown Charleston. Mention that you read this post for 20% off a Turkish towel anytime in 2019.
