"Oh it's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas." - Galentine's Day as defined by Leslie Knope.

A group of fabulous ladies in Charleston recently joined me to create our own version of Galentine's Day, complete with lush flowers, donuts, & a mint green bus named Bonnie.  The only stipulation for attendees was that they had to bring something to the table.  Collaboration is all the rage right now, because isn't it better when everyone shoulders the load?  Each of these gals contributed something wonderful, from cocktail creating to calligraphy to hand made jewelry.  We all added them to lovely wooden gift boxes.  I provided my felted heart soaps, which are now available only in West Elm on King Street!  A local clothing brand, Escapada Living, made sure we could even be cohesively dressed from the same line of fun prints.  See the full feature with all of the participants in the artilcle I wrote for Glitter Guide, and enjoy my favorite photos of the day below.
