A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being a vendor at a great West Elm pop-up event. The Charleston West Elm has been incredibly wonderful to my business, and they have even submitted some of my products to be sold in their locals section! We will see what happens with that, but meanwhile I love being a part of and attending all of their great events. I'm also excited to offer my West Elm designer discount to anyone who uses my Interior Decorating services! I wanted to share some of Abby Murphy's great photos from this event, and you can read more of the details of the ins and outs of being an artisan in store pop-ups on The Southern Coterie's blog. I'd also love for you to come see me this weekend at another pop-up, Saturday 9/23 at Celadon from 11-4 and Sunday 11-2 at the Celadon Warehouse in North Charleston!
Here are a few of the products I brought for the event, and my FAVORITE customer of the night was Erin of Sunwoven. She is the queen of mid-century modern decor and has her beautiful woven wall art available in West Elm, so I can't think of anyone I would rather have had purchase an Escape bag that night. Plus, her kids gave me some major fashion inspiration!!
I'm always so appreciative when friends come to show their support! It was so great to see Candice from YOJ Events, Kelly of Paper Meets Pearl, Emma of Emma Katzka Bridal, English of Renovating Charleston, and especially Abby who captured some great photos! I also hugely appreciate the staff of West Elm for making things like this possible for local artisans like myself.
Some of my favorite other artisans were there with their wares as well. I recently got hooked on the Contents Co. and their botanical candles and products. It was also great to see Perla Anne Press, Kristen Solecki, Dodeline Design, Blakely Little, and 42 Pressed. One of the best parts of this events was probably the ABCD Cake macarons, but they didn't last long!
