One of the best parts of the weekend (and perhaps the best way to bring a little dose of weekend life into every day) is to savor a great cup of coffee. No matter which side of the Ravenel you're on, you can bike to a great local coffee shop for some killer caffeinated treats!
I stumbled upon Brown's Court Bakery on a bike ride a couple years ago. It's a lovely and relaxing spot right around the corner from Warehouse and Parlor Deluxe. The former Charleston Single has plenty of cozy indoor and outdoor seating and even offers parking out back. If you REALLY want to treat yourself, they have "happy hour" of discounted pastries daily from 5-7pm. That lemon donut I had was very hard to photograph without immediately devouring!

Cooper River Roasters
This is a true mom & pop coffee shop! The owners are passionate about freshly brewing their beans, and about giving back. They have been helping me fund raise for my coworker through their shop and their awesome brand of coffee, Ripple. Have you seen these colorful bags popping up around town? Each bag is grown and roasted by women! You can find them at Be The Change Boutique on King Street, order online, or stop by Cooper River. It's the perfect stop on your way out to Sullivan's Island, located at 1303 Ben Sawyer Blvd in Mount Pleasant.
