Meet Liz Lyday & Chrissie Batten. In 2015 they decided to turn their hobbies into a career, and brought that dream to fruition through their joint venture Indigo Market. They originally both had vendor booths in Mount Pleasant Mall, and now they have brought their own furniture & accessories store to other side of the bridge. This space is home to an array of home decor and gift products, with a group of vendors ranging from vintage collectors and interior designers to local jewelers. Not only do Liz & Chrissie curate and refurbish some of their own finds, they also do the best job of re-decorating their shop almost daily to highlight new vendors and merchandise as it comes in.
This duo just celebrated their first year in business at Indigo, and I'm finishing up my first month as a vendor in the space. I'm loving being a part of this awesome place, and was so excited to be able to enjoy a night with these wonderful hostesses through our monthly Charleston blogger meet-up. Gillian Ellis, founder of Charleston Blog Society & Coastal Bride, captured these great images of our night and helped bring together an awesome group of ladies.
It's not surprising that the gals behind Indigo Market did such a great job entertaining our group of ladies, and you will just love them when you go to their shop. You will always find something you have to have in there, and it's more fun to shop from a place like this where you can feel the good juju from the owners. Stop by to shop my Turkish towels, weekender bags, matches, hats, & more! I'm sharing a space with the talented vintage curator and interior designer, Grace Beall of State of Grace Collection, and I hope to have a spot in Indigo for awhile!
